Enhancing Salesforce Security: Mandatory MFA Implementation
Attention all Salesforce users: Starting April 8, 2024, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will become mandatory for all newly created Salesforce orgs, as well as existing production orgs not included in any MFA auto-enablement between the Spring ’23 and Spring ’24 releases. This significant security enhancement aims to bolster protection against unauthorized access to Salesforce data and resources.
It’s important to note that sandboxes will not be affected by this change. However, MFA will be enforced across all Salesforce platforms, including Lightning, Salesforce Classic, and all mobile apps, regardless of the edition.
As this transition approaches, it’s essential for organizations to prepare accordingly to ensure a smooth implementation process. If you encounter any challenges or require assistance during this transition, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Whether you have questions or need support, we’re here to help.
